London Eye -- The "Eye," as many Londoners refer to this gigantic Ferris wheel, is 500 feet high. It provides a spectacular view of London, the Thames river and the English countryside. The cars for this massive structure hold 25 people and never stop. They are constantly in motion - you get on and off while it is in motion - even passengers in wheel chairs are able to board this way. In addition, since it is moving very , very slowly, an air of stability and security is created. Looking down on "Big Ben," Parliament, Westminster Abbey, and all of London from this height provides a magnificent picture of this ancient city. Enjoy the attached photos --
